The movie has kept the cash register ringing both in India and overseas

On August 12 Thursday Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa starrer Puaada is the first Punjabi movie that made it to the theatres after the lockdown. The audiences were really excited to watch the movie and perhaps this excitement and the comedy content of the movie is the reason that even till Monday the movie’s hold is nice and strong. According to the report of Box Office India, on Monday ‘Puaada’ collected 40 lakhs net.

Furthermore according to the same reports the movie has made almost 3 crores net in India and is expected to collect 4 crores by the end of the first week. If we talk about the overseas collection then the film is doing really well. Reports say that in North America and Australia, the Monday collections were better than the numbers recorded on Thursday. Talking more about numbers on Thursday in East Punjab alone the collection was 39 lakhs in Delhi and UP it was 9 lakhs and from other locations the movie collected 3 lakhs making a sum total of 51 lakhs. On Friday, the numbers dropped a little; in East Punjab the film collected 36 lakhs the numbers from Delhi and UP went down to 7.50 lakhs and from the rest of the places the collection was 2.50 lakhs making a total of 46 lakhs. Neverthelesthe numbers recorded on Saturday and Sunday showed a huge rise. The total collection on Saturday was 70 lakhs, and it rose to 83 lakhs on Sunday.
