Air purifiers to be introduced at 10 key areas in Gurgaon

Gurgaon: With winter around the bend and contamination levels set to rise, the Gurugram Metropolitan Development Authority (GMDA) plans to introduce purifiers at 10 significant intersections in the city that will assist occupants with breathing cleaner air. 


As per the authorities, they have taken the assistance of the Indian Pollution Control Association (IPCA) for the cycle and requested that they do an overview to recognize the intersections. The review has just started and the update of comprehension (MoU) with a private firm is probably going to be marked soon. A portion of the areas that are getting looked at incorporate Bakhtawar Chowk, IFFCO Chowk, Rajiv Chowk, Subhash Chowk, Jharsa Chowk, Atul Kataria Chowk and Vatika Chowk. 


"The task is being financed by a private firm, GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), under the CSR activity and we are probably going to sign the MoU in the coming days," GMDA boss VS Kundu said.
